Welcome to Holy Innocents!
Holy Innocents is a small Episcopal Church with a big heart, located in Corte Madera in Marin County. It is a place where young and old worship. Sunday mornings are traditional with organ music and classical hymns at the 9:00 am service. Worship is then followed by refreshments and coffee.
Holy Innocents was established in 1901 and is located on the historic Old Corte Madera Square. All are welcome to attend services regardless of their faith background!
Save the Date: Parish Picnic on Sunday, September 11
Worship that Sunday will be at 10 am
We are going to kick off the new church year with a bang! We will be inviting new families, many of whom have children with special needs, to join us for worship at 10 am, followed by our picnic in Corte Madera Town Park. (There will be a pie contest, to be judged by the Corte Madera Fire Department. So, if you like to bake, please bake and bring a pie!)
Treasure Mart Parking Lot Sale on Saturday, September 17
We will be having a parking lot sale in September (date yet to be determined) to thoroughly clean out the Treasure Mart. After it is emptied, we will clean it, add a fresh coat of paint, and set up an internal organizational structure to see how we can manage it better so that it does not become as cluttered as it is now.
Coffee Hour Sign-Up Sheet in the Narthex
Sharing coffee after the service on Sundays is a time valued by all of us to catch up with fellow members of Holy Innocents. Please consider signing up for a day on the list in the entryway of the church.
Mindful Meditations and Midday Munchies
We meet every Thursday in the library and invite you to come listen, talk, pray and eat. All are invited to join us. Just bring a lunch!
Donations for Altar Flowers
If you would like to make a donation to the altar guild for flowers in memory of someone or in honor of someone, you can do so by contacting Diane Clegg. It is a wonderful way to honor a loved one on a special day.
Altar Guild in Need of New Members or Volunteers to Help
The altar guild has recently had a number of their members resign or need to take a break from their duties, which leaves all the work in the hands of a very few. If you could spare 30 minutes to an hour one Saturday a month, or help with cleaning up the altar after a Sunday service, please let Diane Clegg or Rev. Lynn know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
