Welcome to Holy Innocents!

Holy Innocents is a small Episcopal Church located in Corte Madera in Marin County.  It is  a place where both tradition and innovation are valued.  The heart of our community lies in worship, which ranges from very traditional with chanting, organ music, and the singing of ancient hymns, to a quiet reflective service with no music, to a worship service designed especially for children and their families, which has structure, yet allows for children to participate fully and be themselves.

Holy Innocents was established in 1905 and is located on the historic Old Corte Madera Square. All are welcome to attend services regardless of their faith background.  Whether you know the Episcopal Church well or are brand new to Christianity, you are invited to explore your beliefs with us.

Volunteers Needed!

In any organization, there is always a need for volunteers. Listed below are areas where we need willing people to help out in our church and our community.
1. THE TREASURE MART is in urgent need of volun-teers to staff the shop on the first Monday of the month as well as the fourth Saturday of the month. Many people in the community depend on the T-Mart for household goods, clothing, etc. In turn, the T-Mart is of vital financial assistance to our parish. Also, the T-Mart assists various charities in Marin County with financial gifts at Christmas time. Please consider aid-ing this ministry, you will be doing a great service and will gain satisfaction from helping others. Please call the parish office if you can help.
2. THE ALTAR GUILD has only six active members, who work as teams, two per month (1 @ 7:45 & 1 @ 10:30). Our schedule is currently Diane Clegg and Flo Mickley who alternate with Gini Weiss and Phoebe Brown. Each team has six months per year. Shannon Stolte is the only member from the 9:00 service and is learning what to do before and after services . Marilyn Smith does flowers and helps Flo or Phoebe after 10:30. Four members do the altar flowers, once and sometimes twice a month. We are also blessed to have a “polishing patrol”, who faithfully attend the monthly meetings and polish the brass candlesticks as well as other objects in the church. Our monthly meeting is held on the fourth Saturday of the month at 9:00 AM with breakfast and a brief meeting in the parish hall after which we go to work! It is an honor and a joy to serve our parish and our Lord in this way. If you enjoy flowers and helping make the church beautiful, please join us! Any questions, call the office!
3. SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS Please contact Rev. Lynn if you would like to work with the youth of our parish a few Sundays a year.
4. AMERICAN RED CROSS BAY AREA CHAPTER is in need of volunteers in Marin County.
