To celebrate St. Francis, we will have a Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, 10/2 at 9 am. Bring your favorite pet (or pets) to receive a special blessing in church that day. Dogs need to be on leash and all other pets should be in a crate or case of some sort.

Thank You for a Wonderful and Successful Parish Picnic
It took many hands to make our parish picnic a success, but in particular we would like to thank Bob and Liz Burd for getting to the park at 10 am to set up the jumpy, Ken Hauser for supplying and barbecuing all the burgers, and Amy Jacobberger for inviting some new families to join us and waiting until the jumpy was picked up from the park.
A Switch to Rite II from the Book of Common Prayer
For the rest of the season of Pentecost we will be using Rite II.
Coffee Hour Sign-Up Sheet in the Narthex
Sharing coffee after the service on Sundays is a time valued by all of us to catch up with fellow members of Holy Innocents. Please consider signing up for a day on the list in the entryway of the church.
Mindful Meditations and Midday Munchies
We meet every Thursday in the library and invite you to come listen, talk, pray and eat. All are invited to join us. Just bring a lunch!
Donations for Altar Flowers
If you would like to make a donation to the altar guild for flowers in memory of someone or in honor of someone, you can do so by contacting Diane Clegg. It is a wonderful way to honor a loved one on a special day.
Altar Guild in Need of New Members or Volunteers to Help
The altar guild has recently had a number of their members resign or need to take a break from their duties, which leaves all the work in the hands of a very few. If you could spare 30 minutes to an hour one Saturday a month, or help with cleaning up the altar after a Sunday service, please let Diane Clegg or Rev. Lynn know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
