Campaign to Repair the Back Staircase
While working to pull the outside wall back into place, it was discovered that the back staircase needs to be completely redone due to excessive dry rot. We have received a bid for $15,000 - $20,000 for all the work that would be necessary to repair and replace the back staircase. We know this is not the ideal time to be asking for even more money, but we cannot leave the work undone and risk injury or death to anyone who uses the stairs. Please consider donating to our staircase fund.
Coffee Hour Sign-Up Sheet in the Narthex
Sharing coffee after the service on Sundays is a time valued by all of us to catch up with fellow members of Holy Innocents. Please consider signing up for a day on the list in the entryway of the church.
Flowers for the Altar
If you would like to honor a loved one's birthday, anniversary or other special day with flowers on the altar, there is a very easy way to do that. Just contact the church office or Diane Clegg (head of the Altar Guild) with the information, and we will be happy to include an announcement in the weekly church bulletin. A donation of any amount may be sent to the church or Diane. And, if there is a particular type of color of flower that you would like, we will surely try to find it.
Altar Guild in Need of New Members or Volunteers to Help
The altar guild has recently had a number of their members resign or need to take a break from their duties, which leaves all the work in the hands of a very few. If you could spare 30 minutes to an hour one Saturday a month, or help with cleaning up the altar after a Sunday service, please let Diane Clegg or Rev. Lynn know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
